What makes us happy is love, regardless of what kind of love it is or who it is directed towards. It can be the romantic love that you feel for your spouse, the platonic love that you feel for your friends and family members, the compassionate love that you feel for individuals that you aren’t even attached to, like a homeless man or stray dogs in a shelter, the love that you feel for your social group etc. Love makes us happy and anger/fear prevents us from attaining feelings of peace and happiness.

Happiness lies in our mind and heart which we can explore and enjoy any time. The objects of the world are just some triggers we believe, but they are not enough for the enjoyment if we are not ready for it.

That is right. We can be happy within our self in a place which is quite simple ans has no object which may be affecting in any way.

Hapiness is a blessing of the LORD which few can enjoy every moment.

For me happiness is playing with my daughters, talk to my wife nearby, stroke a cat or a dog which calls for mommy, watching from the window and see the mountains or the sea, the nature; is also talk of brotherhood between us. The happiness is get up in the morning and say: another day to live; I wash my face, clothes, get out from my house and see the people greet you with a smile, shake hands, talk together.
Happiness is listening to the breath of nature, birds singing, the sound of silence. Watching the woods in autumn, when it’s filled with a lot of color and smell of moss and mushrooms. Happiness is sitting close to an old man and listen, tell a tale to a child. Happiness is to give another chance to those who wrong.

You must realize that it is the ordinary way of God’s dealings with us that our ideas do not work out speedily and efficiently as we would like them to. The reason for this is not only the loving wisdom of God, but also the fact that our acts have to fit into a great complex pattern that we cannot possibly understand. I have learned over the years that Providence is always a whole lot wiser than any of us, and that there are always not only good reasons, but the very best reasons for the delays and blocks that often seem to us so frustrating and absurd.

Our lifestyle will be determined, from what we experience with and within ourselves, that our conscious acts spring from our desires and our fears.our intuition tells us that that is true also of others and of the higher animals. we all try to escape pain and death, while we seek what is pleasant and this is what we could work on , and face pain a little more and that will help others. we are all ruled in what we do by impulses, and these impulses are so organised that our actions in general serve for our self preservation and that of the race. hunger, love, pain, fear are some of those inner forces which rule the our instinct for self preservation. at the same time, as social beings, we are moved in the relations with our fellow humans by such feelings as sympathy, pride, hate, need for power, pity, and so on. all these primary impulses, not easily described in words, are the springs of man’s actions. all such action would cease if those powerful elemental forces were to cease stirring within us. though our conduct seems so very different from that of the higher animals, the primary instincts are much alike in them and in us. the most evident difference springs from the important part which is played in people by a relatively strong power of imagination and by the capacity to think, aided as it is by language and other symbolical devices not need it any more. thought is the organising factor in people, intersected between the causal primary instincts or primitive and the resulting actions. in that way imagination and intelligence enter into our existence in the part of servants of the primary instincts. but their intervention makes our acts to serve ever less merely the immediate claims of our instincts. and these evolved over a long period of time as our needs changed,a hundred year old thinking, then dies, a 1 year thinking, then dies no differences

Happiness is different for different people as you have mentioned.
Like there are different flowers or sweets, liked by individuals.
But, there is always a absolute scale which can define at different level.
