It is because of the present set up and the system of democracy. People are engaged in multiple task. Most of the people engaged in spirituality when they feel attained their basic needs. In todays time people are burdened with more problem. Spirituality will not help if the court delay cases, our babus not clearing file due to red tape and refuse to give Gandhi (Note).

Once Kenian president says that missioneries came with Bible, they gave their bible in our hand, told to close our eye and meditate. When we opened our eyes, we lost our land and resources. We only have ’Bible’.

In the present scenario, we need to open our eyes and alert mind in our day to day life. The whole problem started when we become democracy. I fully blame our democracy and the present democratic set up. You can make comparison with today’s democracy and pre-colonial King’s rule. Our democracy reached a senior citizen’s age. Still disfunctioning and say we are young democracy. Art of living and spiritualism will succeed only when the citizen feel safe, secure and belongings in the society. I am also advocating spiritualism, but only after other things.

If we wait for other things before starting on path of spirituality, it may never start.

One must balance the days activities.
